IPAD Is the purchase value?

I'm thinking about what the product Apple should I buy a Macbook Pro or IPAD. I really wanted a Macbook Pro before, but now realize that I have wifi in my house, and that will always be a real pain trying to find a wireless hotspot. The IPAD was going to get 32 gb IPAD equipped with 3G wireless. I have a friend who works in a warehouse that is associated with Apple, so I will not pay full price for the product. I just wanted to know, IPAD current owners, or people who have used it before, is a good product and is worth buying? Also, I'm not sure if this means anything, but now have an iPod Touch 32 GB. Do not worry about being nice here, guys. I would like honest opinions on products. Thank you! ~ ~ Mrs.Cullen

Go with the Macbook, as IPAD is just an expanded version of an iPhone with less features than a MacBook Pro IPAD looks, feels and works exactly like an iPhone or iPod. The only differences from an iPod and an IPAD, is that it has a much larger screen and a few more additions. The MacBook is a complete high-end laptop that can be run most applications designed for computers.
